During the month the IAD's Research Staff Careers Consultants will be running 1hr briefing sessions on Dealing with Career Anxiety and Narrative CVs and on the 4th June, they will be running Quick Queries - 20 minute in-person career consultation appointments located in Appleton Tower.

For anyone wishing to explore options beyond academia they have some great sessions coming up in the second half of the month.  A Careers Online Panel Session will run on 17th June focused on Working in Life Sciences. The panel includes two researchers, an immunologist and a cancer specialist, who have transferred their scientific-skills into alternative science careers. Even if you imagine a different sort of science career for yourself beyond academia, this session will be valuable for gaining insight into how to plan for a successful transition and put those plans into action by hearing from people who have done it themselves.

The month finishes with a session led by the Prosper team on 25th June. The 30 minute session will provide more information on Prosper, and will introduce the online portal which hosts lots of great resources and information and a great way to support your career development.
