New video focused on the 10 Days Professional Development entitlement, as part of the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers A key commitment in the Concordat is that universities will provide opportunities, structured support, encouragement, and time for researchers to engage in a minimum of 10 days professional development, pro rata, per year. The University of Edinburgh have developed a short video which provides more information about this entitlement. The video conveys the importance of professional development to support long term career goals and emphasises that researchers should be taking ownership of their own career development, and that both researchers and PIs/Managers can benefit from routinely including this as part of their key conversations. The video can be found on the 10 Days Professional Development webpage, on the Research Staff Hub. 10 Days Professional Development Webpage and Video Blog about how the 10 Days Video was developed out of a Short Life Working Group Publication date 25 Apr, 2024
