Research Security monthly updates

ERO Export Control Specialists are launching a series of monthly online training sessions.

The training sessions aim to help academics and professional services colleagues understand the key principles of research security and responsible international collaboration and will cover:

  • Trusted research
  • Export controls and sanctions
  • The National Security and Investment Act 2021
  • Research security reviews for overseas collaborations
  • Managing risks when sharing sensitive goods, software, information, and technology

These one-hour sessions are open to all university staff and are particularly relevant for those involved in international research or sensitive research areas.
